Date Night Videos
Author: webmasterI’m sure you have heard it said that SUCCESS is 90% preparation and 10% inspiration. This is true when you are working on your acting career, Ph.D. or competing on Jeopardy! But how do you define success is relation to your ability to come up with fun and interesting things to do on a date?
When it comes to picking a DVD to watch on a cold winter’s night, cuddled up by an open fire with your favorite hot beverage, does “preparation” involve spending a week at the video store, renting and reviewing hours of avant-garde video in hopes you’ll come across something that might be interesting?
Maybe interesting isn’t the problem. Maybe you are concerned that You Tube and Lime Wire downloads don’t exactly create that romantic atmosphere you are trying to create?
I’d like to recommend the British Broadcasting Corporation. They pride themselves on offering innovative, pioneering and progressive programming. I have been a big fan of their tight, witty dialogue and clever scripts ever since college when some friends turned me on to a half-hour sci-fi spoof called Red Dwarf.
If you are looking for classy, intelligent and cutting edge films, check them out. If you are looking for videos that you will be able to watch over and over and over again, buy the DVDs. I have personally set the mood for many a romantic evening by screening some of their movies and tv shows (yes, even tv shows). Add a few candles and a little wine and you would be surprised by the fireworks you can create. By the way, actually owning the DVDs makes a much better impression on your date. It comes across as a lot more impressive than downloading and burning the material. Trust me.
